The Spirit
bear is actually called The Kermode bear. A spirit bear is NOT a polar bear.
However, they do look like them, because it are white bears too. But they are
originally black bears. Evolution changed them into white. The spirit bear lives in the north coast
of Britisch Columbia, Canada. Some
people think it has spiritual powers which can teach people to do the right
things. The book is a good example of that.
